About Me: Melbourne Photographer Susan Bradfield

I am a Melbourne based photographer working in Brighton, bayside Melbourne who just loves to photograph people.

In what now seems like another lifetime ago, I was a physiotherapist, and a ‘professional’ expat who has lived in London, Shanghai and Zürich, I am now happy to have made the transition as a professional photographer. This transition started with me travelling a lot and capturing these journeys and stories on camera. As a mother of two precious ones, I understand the invaluable and important legacy of photographic memories and passionately believe in the importance of documenting our lives. I feel inspired to create and capture natural, beautiful images of people and of this amazing world we live in.  But most importantly, I am motivated to capture connection and emotion: of beautiful moments when loved ones are together.

Aside from photography, I love spending time with friends and family and my two spoodles (they are my additional two babies), I love to travel, ‘good’ music, watching great movies, and I run to keep fit in an attempt to work off my love of good food - which includes pouring over beautiful recipe books, cooking, eating and dining out :)

I have always enjoyed meeting people and listening to their stories. And I feel privileged to be trusted to tell your story.
