Newborn Photoshoot for The Block 2025’s Emma & Ben and Baby Bailey
Last October, it was a pleasure welcoming Emma and Ben from The Block 2025 into my Brighton studio with their newborn son, Bailey. After such a big year for them, my hope was the session became a quiet space to slow down and simply enjoy these early days with their little boy. Emma and Ben are the nicest of people and Bailey was the just the cutest so it was a really lovely morning with them all :)
A Block 2025 Baby
Emma and Ben became the first contestants on The Block to announce a pregnancy during the competition. They learned they were expecting on the same day they were accepted onto the show and revealed the news mid‑season. Their son, Bailey, was born in late September 2025, only three days before auction day.

Bailey was just over two weeks old — that perfect stage where babies are still curled, sleepy, and of course, happy to be held. We kept everything minimal and calm:
soft, natural light
warm neutral tones
gentle, baby‑led posing
So we could focus on connection and small details.
Recording New Parenthood
Bailey was very content being in his Mummy and Daddy’s arms. Which meant we could capture images that were relaxed — just natural moments between the three of them.
The Details That Matter
The session centred on the simple details: Bailey’s gentle movements, the way he settled against his parents, and those tiny newborn features that change almost overnight.
A Timeless Set of Images
The final gallery feels warm, simple, and sweet. A quiet, happy record of their first weeks as a family of three.
