Each year, I offer a limited number of Christmas Mini Sessions in Melbourne, running from late October through November. These short, festive sessions are perfect for families wanting Christmas family photos, Christmas baby photos, or a beautiful update for your Christmas cards. Whether it’s your baby’s first Christmas or an annual family tradition, these Christmas mini studio photos are designed to be quick, joyful, and stress‑free.

What ages are Christmas Mini Sessions suitable for?

Christmas Minis are perfect for babies, toddlers, children and families. Little ones from around 6 months+ (sitting confidently) get the most out of the setup, but younger babies are welcome too.

How long is a Christmas Mini Session?

Sessions run for 10 minutes — short, relaxed and designed to keep little ones happy and engaged without overwhelming them.

Can parents be in the photos?

Yes — parents are welcome to join in for a few photos. These sessions are primarily child‑focused, but family images are always included if you’d like them.

Can cousins or extended family join?

Christmas Minis are designed for one immediate family per session. If you’d like cousins or extended family photographed together, you’ll need to book two back‑to‑back sessions.

What should we wear?

Soft, neutral tones photograph beautifully — creams, whites, sage, dusty pink, tan, denim or muted Christmas colours. Avoid bold logos or busy patterns. Coordinated outfits work better than matching ones.

What if my child is shy, unsettled or not in the mood?

That’s completely normal. Sessions are gentle and child‑led, with simple prompts and plenty of warmth. I work quickly and calmly to capture natural expressions, even with shy or energetic little ones.

How many images are included?

Your session includes a set number of edited images (based on your package), with the option to purchase additional favourites from your online gallery.

When will we receive our photos?

Your gallery will be delivered within one week, so you have plenty of time for Christmas cards, gifts and printing.

Where do the sessions take place?

All Christmas Minis are held in my Brighton studio, designed for families across Bayside and greater Melbourne. The setup is modern, simple and timeless — no heavy props or costumes.

Do you provide outfits or props?

The setup is styled for you, but clothing isn’t provided. You’re welcome to bring small, meaningful items (a favourite toy, a Christmas book, a special blanket).

Can we bring pets?

For safety and timing reasons please discuss with me beforehand. This is usually possible dog-dependent!
