Sitter Baby Photo Sessions: SIX TO TWELVE MONTHS
What is a sitter session and why have one?
Babies pass through their milestones so quickly. A ‘sitter’ baby is usually around 6-12 months and is when your baby is sitting independently. At this age, babies become more interactive, super cuddly and are using a variety of facial expressions, those little chubby rolls may be developing and their little personalities are starting to shine. It is such a lovely age to mark and remember.
Location
I offer Studio or outdoor sitter baby photography sessions and this is a choice made on personal preference. You can read more about choosing an outdoor photography location in Melbourne here and specifically about Bayside Brighton as a location here.
What’s Included in a Baby Photography Session?
I include use of props and outfits for your baby. I will chat with you beforehand to plan and style the session and ensure we are capturing the images you envision. Family including siblings are welcome in my shoots and no extra is charged for this. Sessions are usually around one hour as babies tire so quickly.
How To Prepare for your Photoshoot
When you come for a session it is best your baby is well fed and rested (just like all of us :)) and we can chat so your session is timed around nap times.
I do offer minimalist cake smash sessions as well to mark that big one year old milestone. As well as family photography sessions.
You can view images of my older baby sessions here.
